Fishing Report April 28, 2010

Sunny skies and blue water have been making for excellent days on the water, with heavy action inshore and a steady offshore bite. We are enjoying very large aggressive Rooster fish in the 40 - 50 lb range. Offshore we are seeing Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna regularly. Striped Marlin can still be found and the warmer water temps bring on the first early season Blue and Black Marlin. Summer in Cabo San Lucas brings with it some of the most amazing fishing on the planet. We have a wide open bite on monster billfish for six months, along with the richest fishing tournaments.

The Return of the Striped Marlin

Pacific side fishing starting to warm up!! Striped Marlin catches consistent from the 95 to the Jaime bank. An afternoon Rooster bite has been making for excellent charter fishing. Start off the day fishing for Yellowfin and Striped Marlin, then spend the last few hours inshore on some lighter tackle fighting roosters. We are gearing up now for prime season, Big Blues and Blacks, monster hoos, and Yellowfin Tuna in the 300lb class.
