Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report, October 25

Crazy tournament this year! Congrats to our Friend John Stonecipher and team Rehab with two nice Blue Marlin. This year Cabo hung more monsters in the first day than the last years tourney did in all three. Black and Blue marlin are still abundant, tons of Dorado, and steady yellowfin Tuna. Land's end fisherman will now shift gears and get ready for the WON Tuna Jackpot. Warm water and loads of sardines have combined to turn the sea of cortez into a heaven for Big Marlin. As long as conditions hold we will enjoy a red hot bite!!

Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report, October 11

Re-spool your reels and set your drags it is tournament time! This year has great potential, Blue and Black marlin are abundant. We have had numerous fish over 300lbs. and one Monster 700 + lb Blue this week. That monster was landed on a Shimano 30w Tyrnos with 40lb test by Joe Weider of the Triple shot fishing team out of New Jersey. They went three for three that day on Blue marlin and six for eight on the four days they fished!! Charter fishing is nonstop action with great numbers of Dorado, Wahoo, and Yellowfin Tuna. Rooster fish are biting steady inshore as well.

Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report, October 4

All the Sashimi you can eat!!!! Bring the soy sauce and we will bring the extra ice. Yellowfin tuna and Dorado are everywhere. This kind of fishing keeps the action steady between billfish strikes. Marlin are abundant and bait supplies are steady. This has been the mildest summer we have seen here in Cabo. Temps in the low nineties and no storms to speak of. Fleet production has been steady and plentiful.

Cabo Fishing Report October 1

October is here and we are having the type of season Cabo is known for. Steady Blue and Black Marlin catches, Striped Marlin are thick, and Dorado are everywhere. Typical numbers on a full day charter are a handful of billfish releases, more Dorado than there are hours in the day., and Yellow fin tuna running beneath schools of porpoise. Rooster fish are available as well as California Yellowtail. Wiyh Tournament season upom us we will be seeing larger fish as the anglers focus more on catching that one big fish and break out the big tackle. Expect mates and captains to be dragging bigger baits and tightening their technique in preparation.
